By now, through the efforts of the Nosferatu, Cainites of all sects have received a missive, typed anonymously and photocopied in the exact same fashion. It reads as follows:
"The Greystone Table will be the centerpoint of the Camarilla, it will serve as a symbol of community, and of unbreakable spirit, but most importantly will be the place where a council will form. Those loyal to the Camarilla will attend, at which time a Primogen Council will be chosen representing the clans of this city as it should be.
To begin, the chosen Primogen of a clan will be based on He who attends, each Primogen will then choose a second as their proxy. This means 'First come, first serve'. As is our way, a Primogen's status may be contested immediately before the other members of the council.
The first meeting will be announced in due time. The Greystone Table will be available to the council and all Cainites once a month, in secret, where Primogen council will meet and Camarilla business will then be discussed. Only those privy to the location may invite guests."
(For the first meeting, The Greystone Table room will be open to the public in order to set up the heirarchy. After the council is set, the room will be password protected and only council members and guests will be allowed IC. Others may lurk to observe the scene if they'd like. This means two things:
1> In order to have the council recognize whatever you want to speak to them about, you must be brought to the table by a council member.
2> In order to be introduced to the Council and be recognized, you must be brought to the table by your clan Primogen.
These rules are made only to reinforce and promote the RP of the heirarchy in the absence of a Prince. Otherwise, Vampire RP can happily move as normal. This room is a plot device and a tool for the political side of the venue. Nothing more. I'm not STing, I'm only promoting the administrative efforts involved in a good Camarilla for players who wish to use it.
My hope is that this will help players facilitate more political plots to enhance the game. As the council progresses, more information will be added to this thread and its mirror on
