MISSING CHILD FOUND DEAD
NEW YORK CITY, New York - After nearly a two month long search for a missing child, authorities believe they have found the remains of nine year old Timothy Baker in Central Park. David and Felicia Baker reported their child missing after their neighborhood rounds of trick or treating on Halloween night.

"He was with us one minute, and then gone the next," David Baker admitted to the New York Chronicle. "You don't know what kind of agony a parent goes through when their child is missing." Both parents had been questioned at the time and then released when their stories collaborated, leaving Police with a city wide manhunt for the little boy. As days turned into weeks, little hope remained they would find young Timothy alive.

"Hope is all you have when you don't know where your boy is," Felicia Baker said. "We pleaded with whoever took him to please get Timothy to a Hospital." That's because Timothy Baker wasn't an ordinary nine year old boy.

Timothy Baker had Leukemia.

"It was in the early stages, but Timothy was already beginning to feel weak and fatigued after playing for only minutes. He complained of constant head and body aches as well," Mrs. Baker continued. "We were going to take him to a specialist the following week."

Timothy's remains were discovered beneath one of the park benches by a groundskeeper , half covered in snow. The city coroner would conduct an examination later this evening to identify the cause of death.

BUSINESS TYCOON RICHARD BRANT DEAD AT 62
NEW YORK CITY, New York - Multimillionaire and entrepreneur, Richard Seymour Brant, was confirmed to have died late last night in a fatal car accident that left him decapitated. Foul play has not been ruled out but Police believe alcohol was involved.

"We're not saying much at this time because of it being an ongoing investigation," Police Chief Gregory Heinz told the New York Chronicle. "From the looks of things though, I'd say he had one too many drinks and tried to drive home."

Brant, a one time member of Pentex Laboratories and board of trustees, had made large contributions in the name of science and in particular: research and development. It was his financial backbone that set in motion the new drug: Aevum. A long standing colleague, Dr. Ezra McDaniels commented on the news of his friend.

"He was a great asset to the company and to science itself," McDaniels admitted. "I compare losing him to losing one of my own arms." McDaniels went on to say that Brant had paid him many visits while Aevum was in it's final stages. Slated to be released in early 2010, Aevum is being hailed as "the cure for Cancer".

Brant is survived by his wife and two daughters.
