The night was unusually quiet, the street desolate of life, all accept for Payton. A young male crouched near an office building's rear entrance, he had a plastic security card attatched to what looked to be some sort of number pad , he pressed the card to the black security panel , entered a few number and the only sound that broke the silence of the night was the click of the door unlocking , he slid the card reader into a leg pouch, and moved swiftly into the dimly lit interior hall. Payton was good looking , young , sure he carried a badge but he didn't look like a detective. His nose was pierced with a silver hoop. His hair was dirty blond and in a choppy chinlength cut, he wore snug fit black jeans, black boots , black fingerless gloves and a black wife beater. His skin was olive and his hair was drawn back into a careless ponytail. "Ok Payton , if you were a big bad , where would you keep your questionable records" He said to himself. The image of his missing friends coming to mind. His hand touched the cross at his neck and he nodded some pressing himself to the wall his eyes moved along the cieling looking for cameras ** |
