"And now to our reporter on site, Sherry", the camera changed over to a female reporter at the Necropolis downtown pool hall. "Thanks Dan, I'm here at the site off our most recent downtown shooting. Where police are reporting that a College student began firing into the patrons of our towns favorite down town pool hall earlier this evening." The camera cut back to Dan "What else can you tell us Sherry?"

The camera cut to Sherry "Well Dan, the Necropolis Police believe this College student who turned the gun upon himself later this evening may or may not be tied to several other incidents over the past few weeks. Such as the Shooting of a Russian Mafia Lieutenant along with two of his henchmen in one of the Downtown clubs" The camera cut to the scene a few days ago of the covered bodies. Sherry continued "As well as the killing of Johnny Lightning a well known small time Balkan's Mafia Don." The camera cut scene to a several covered bodies, Johnny Lightning's forearm showing a Shadowlord's tribal tattoo. " After searching the student's home they found many firearms both, handguns and rifles as well as explosives which they are currently looking to link to the Explosion at one of the underground parking garages here in town. It changes the thinking it would seem for Necropolis being in the throws of a Mafia territory grab to possibly the work of a crazed vigilante. Back to you Dan".

The Camera cut back to Dan "Well Sherry, it sure does sound like the Necropolis Pd has their hands full. Lets all hope they get this handled.". He looked stern and professional then smiled
"Well folks maybe one of the reasons crime has gone up and the town morale has been down a bit can be blamed on the current economy. Good news though is it seems Pentex and its subsidiaries claim to have a cure for our woes as they are looking into bringing more jobs into the area soon."

NHN rambled on with the usual rhetoric after that, as well as upbeat commercials selling you everything they could in their hidden messages.

The police moved pretty quick in their findings the other night. It doesn't add up. I swear the bombing to the parking garage had other intentions. What of that large opening in the ground that seemed more like a secret chamber than a blast radius, it seemed more a message to me, something I'd seen while reporting in the wars, just the suicide bomber missed the target or his vest went off prematurely.

Johnny Lightning, the Russian mob lieutenant and now the disappearance of Mr. Scarzinni a well noted member of La Cosa Nostra. No one seemed to care, they were all scum, I'm not sure I really care. Yet from a few of the cops I overheard talking there was a connection by cards left , The Jack of Clubs was it? Is there more going on here? Necropolis feels like its in the midst of some long war and those in the underworld snatching up the vacancies in power and using it as cover to further their own means. Is a new underworld power coming up? I hope my connections can turn something up, Maybe just maybe there is a real story here and not just a jumble of horrible things.

At 8:00am on a park bench in the Public Park on the corner of 5th street and Palla Verde Avenue. The body of one Melvin Gibson was found on 11-7-12. The subject was stabbed 8 times in the throat, face and chest region. The body was found by a young dog walker who chooses to remain anonymous. The Police are currently investigations.

Sgt. Joseph Dwyer of the NYPD released a statement to the press in the early morning of November 8th. The police have found the murder weapon to be some type of ritual dagger found tossed in the bushes. There was a full thumb print and 2 partial prints on the knife. Linking the knife to one "Samara Gray". Witnesses around the neighborhood where Mr. Gibson lived commented on a woman matching that description leaving and coming late at night for the past 3 weeks. On at least 3 occasions.

Recent information has come to our attention. Mr. Gibson's apartment building was burned to the ground on Halloween night. Police suspect Arson, but are still investigating the mysterious fire. As of this point Samara Gray is a strong suspect of interest by the police.

"....And now on a more serious note, the Convent of the Holy Name has been the victim of a series of horrific crimes. For the past seventy years, the Sisters of the convent have been a cornerstone of their community, providing shelter and succor to those who need it, regardless of race or creed. Tonight, sadly, their long, storied lives have been snuffed out. For more details, we go to the scene with Marco Yeats. Mark?"

"....Thanks, Dan. As you can see behind me, parts of the Convent are still burning. The fire department has been unsuccessful in rescuing any survivors that may be inside thus far, but they have recovered several nuns who were apparently murdered before the fire was set. The police on-site have refused to comment, but an EMT who wished to remain anonymous said that the recovered bodies were completely skinless and drained of blood.

He went on to say that the inside of the convent was, quote, 'A complete 'expletive-deleted' horror show,' and that he personally does not expect to find any survivors. A real tragedy, Dan, and we'll continue to feed details to the station as we're apprised of them."

"Thank you, Marco. Truly, whoever did this was monstrous, and the Sisters of the Holy Name will be sorely missed.

In other news, the Necropolis Zoo has reported that Garima, the Indian elephant, is pregnant after six months of...."

"Hello and Welcome back I'm Dan Miller and there is breaking news from the City Park last night. Now to Shelly our on site reporter."

"Thanks, Dan. It appears late last night a teenager went on a rampage in the City park while at a picnic with his friends. 3 teenagers, 2 females and one male paid the ultimate price for underage drinking and drug use last night. The toxicology reports coming back showing that all those involved in the picnic had THC, other narcotics and alcohol in their systems. The highest levels reported in the male offender found covered in in his friends blood and body showing signs of struggle that they put up against him. The surviving friends have all gone on record, stating that they were attacked by some kind of gigantic batman. But the evidence is overwhelming in this case Dan, pointing directly to the young male offender according to the Necropolis PD spokes person."

The camera panned to show part of the park cordoned off with police tape and several spray painted body outlines. "That looks like a pretty gruesome scene Shelly." Dan stated on the cut away to him and then back to Shelly. "Indeed it is Dan, several officers reported it was like something out of a horror movie, but that they had seen this kind of thing happen before with drug and alcohol cases before involving teens all across the country that had been bullied with no other ways to strike back. Necro PD says the park will be open again later today. That is all we have for now, back to you Dan."

The TV cut back to Dan, "A shame, our youth have to come to such drug induced violence to solve their social problems. Maybe we will all keep this in mind on how we treat others during this holiday season." He tapped his papers on the desk "In friendlier news, Pentex and its subsidiaries have broken ground on several new locations in town and have brought in several professionals to help make sure their fund are used correctly to rebuild our fair city and employ a large majority of the local populace....." Dan went on to prattle about the plans with a Pentex exec on restored parks, mass transportation and business districts. As well as all the other economic benefits.

As you'd expect many aimed commercials also showed for Pentex goods as well as several Pentex company community friendly ones (Not much unlike the current BP commercials) played as well. Always smiling faces, pointing out their restoration efforts, how their fund and changes have restored areas, the new jobs and how the are more committed than ever to restoring America.

"Hello I'm Dan with your breaking news" the all to familiar face on the television proclaimed. "Earlier this evening there was a fire in the woods that raged quite quickly for several hours Helicopters and firefighting units were able to swiftly arrive on scene and get the Blaze under control. To you Shelly."

"Thanks Dan, This is Shelly and I'm on scene near the the wild fire that caught blaze in the woods tonight. Firefighters here say they have 100% containment and will be leaving several crews on it all night to put out the hot spots." Dan interrupted and asked "Shelly, are they saying anything on what maybe the cause of the fire." Shelly smiled to the camera as a water tanker truck passed behind her. "Yes Dan, the Sheriff's office is stating they found a gruesome scene and one survivor. They say the teenager was out with his friends this evening camping and enjoying the night. He also said that he had fallen a sleep and awoke to the flames burning out of control and ran for his life. The Sheriff's Office says they will continue to look into what happened but from evidence they found on scene it looks to be a small gathering of teenagers that were intoxicated and allowed their camp fires to get out of control. resulting in the deaths of the 6 young adults they found at the camp site. There was also a Hiker whose remains don't allow for identification found in the remains and one cabin burned to the ground. We can't get you any names of the youths right now, but when the Sheriff's office releases those we will get them to our public as well. Back to you Dan."

"What an awful thing to happen on a camping trip" the television switched to Dan on screen, "Just another lesson on the dangers of fires and underage drinking." he turned to the other camera and they switched. "Onto other news, It looks like the Buffalo Bills might be...."
